Key Building Features

In 2002, Karges-Faulconbridge, Inc. (KFI) purchased a vacant existing building at 670 West County Road B, situated on 3.6 acres in Roseville, Minnesota. The existing building was a former grocery store built in 1972. The building, since then, has been transformed into a high-performance, energy-efficient building, which serves as KFI’s corporate headquarters. It contains 34,500 S.F. of office space, high bay testing, training facilities, and storage space. The building transformation was accomplished using an integrated sustainable design process between KFI (Mechanical & Electrical Design), Pope Associates (Architectural Design), and McGough Construction (General Contractor).  To view the official case study completed by The Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance on the KFI building, click here.
